Developed video game in C++, "Civilization: CTP" which was the #1 selling PC title in June 1999.
Acted as lead programmer for three months.
Wrote wide variety of subsystems for commercially successful products, including resource allocation system, path search system, scripting language, fuzzy logic expert system, and real-time feedback controllers.
Application was written in C++ as a client-server architecture and could run over the internet or LAN with concurrent users.
Wrote phase 1 internal technology demo for application including graphics, sound, UI, and AI.
Co-wrote the technical design document.
The full application had a team of eight programmers. I managed sub-team of two other programmers to do the data logic and AI modules.
Much of the code I wrote was reused in several other successful products.

Researched and developed a neural network to predict mechanical failure and performance trends in the TF34 jet engine based on sensor data from an embedded fault diagnostic system.

Researched and developed automatic control for a resin-transfer molding injection system, which was designed to reliably fill an injection mold by using a Reinforcement Learning type neural network to learn a correct control strategy.
